e8200 underperforming
Hello all,
I have just built a new computer with an e8200 processor and an msi p45 neo motherboard and xfx 8800gt. All seems to be running well, but it appears to be running a bit slow. I tried testing the machine with 3dmark06 and for the cpu test i get under 1 frame per second, less than i wuould have hoped. It ran the graphics card test fine. I have checked the speed of the processor in the bios and cpuz and both say it is running at 2.66ghz as it should be. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much, Dan |
