I have the same problem
I get these error stop 0x000000f4
the computer freeze while I am loading some program(doesnt matter which) and give me these error.
I have asus p5vd2-vm se motherboard.
memtest and microsft memory test saying that there is no error in the virtual memory
harddisk sential saying that the hdd on 100% health.
I upgraded the bios and still got these messege
its a brand new computer,
formating and reinstalling windows didnt help either.
I was hopless, sent the computer back to the store, waiting for the fix
I assume its some incompatble hardware, but I dont know
If anyone have any idea I would like to hear

i got my computer for the lab
its seem o.k for a while
but when i try to transfer data for my ipod to the computer i get the same error
0x000000F4
i'm so frustrated
im pretty sure the harddrive is dammaged but i cant proove it
how can i check it?

Do you know what brand hard drive you have?
You can download the test program from the manufacturers web site.

I dunno whose the manufactur its h.d wd 250GB 7200 rpm sata 2, 8mb

This should should be the Diag. Utility download and burn it to a CD reboot with the Cd in the drive, make sure your Bois is set to boot from the CD drive.
Let us know what you find.
