Upgrading Motherboard with vista installed
Hi, I need to know if I can change my motherboard and have the currently installed version of windows vista (home premium) still work. The O.S came pre-installed on the computer when I bought it so I dont have any activation keys or reinstall disks. All other hardware except the RAM will remain the same, but the new motherboard will not be the same type as the old. If I need to I reinstall vista I'm screwed :( I suppose this is very different to upgrading other components and Im asking for serious trouble right?
