Please help, Business Comp.

I am building a computer for my business. I do audiology work and just basicaly ordered a computer from newegg for around $700.00 in hardware. I have everything installed. There are some major problems occuring. When I connect my Power supply to the ATX on the mobo (gigabyte board btw) I try and push the power on the front of the case (rosewell case, horrible btw) but looks nice. The cpu will not boot up. Strange thing is..when I push hard on the cable that connects to the ATX the cpu fan and power supply start to come on. Now all I get is a squeeling noise. I never once get any beeps or any green lights on the motherboard.

CPU- AMD x2 at 2.5
PSU- rosewell 600
Motherboard gigabyte
