problem with my processor
Hi
I am using a p4 with 1gb ram and a 3ghz processor...but when i right click on my computer and check system properties it say's Intel R Pentium R 4cpu 3.00ghz 1.50GHZ,1.00 GB of RAM I have no clues as to how i am suppose to fix this problem so that...ma computer works at 3.00ghz..please help |

Looks like something to do with the frequency. A p4 3.+ghz cpu with a fsb of 533mhz needs to be set at 133 in the bios. Though most computers auto detect. Some are still manual. If your cpu has a fsb of 533 then here is your fix. If its runs at a higher fsb then you might need to do a lil research or have one of the fab techs here post. But in any event, they will need to know your fsb.
