Motherboard Recommendation and psu probs
Hey guys, Looking for a new motherboard and having problems with psu.
I only have 1 graphics card atm but would like the option to add another so 2 x pci-e is a must. Also i want to get my cpu to as close to 4ghz as possible so the board must be a good overclocker. Id like to stay under£150 if thats possible As for the psu, My current one cant handle my setup i dont think, The fan keeps cutting out and the psu sits at 58-68oC. Do you think it's not powerfull enough or do you think its a problem with the fan, Could i just replace the fan. My spec atm is; Abit Fatil1ty mobo Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 SLACR (2.4ghz) Asus 8800gts 640mb (620/1050) 4gb OCZ sli ddr2 pc6400 800mhz 1 x seagate barracude 160gb hd 1 x Hitachi 320gb hd 22" Samsung Syncmaster 19" Viewsonic Thermaltake Kandalf LCS Jeantech 700w storm Thanks in advance Last edited by porteouz : 06-18-2008 at 09:28 AM. |
