Hii...I am Tijo Mathew. My processor with Intel D915GAV Motherboard is not working.Since this motherboard is outdated and processors supporting this motherboard are not available easily in the market. I bought a new processor :-- ((((( Intel Pentium 4 processor 631+ Supporting HT Technology 3 GHZ,800 MHZ FSB, 2MB L2 Cache )))) which is not working or supporting with this motherboard.. The processor no: 631 is not working and my Rs 3000 got wasted.. Afterwards I went to Intel.com to check the list of supported processors with the same motherboard. There processor no 631 is not listed being supported with this motherboard. A computer shop has a new Intel processor with processor no: 530. Should I buy it from him for Rs. 3000 ? Will the processor work or support my Intel D915GAV , it is listed on the intel.com as supporting the Motherboard.Kindly reply me urgently with details of whether I should buy it..Awaiting you reply.
