Strange boot resolution
My PC uses an unusual 720x400 resolution when it boots, making it impossible to read certain boot messages in their entirety. This just suddenly started happening with no obvious cause. My motherboard is an Asus P5B with the latest bios and my graphics card is an Nvidia Albatron 7950GT 512mb with its default bios and latest drivers, though I presume the drivers aren't relevant given that I believe they aren't loaded at that stage. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Re: Strange boot resolution
I am assuming that your computer is able to bootup fine. If yes then I recommend un-installing the current drivers and installing the latest drivers from nvidia and see if this helps alleviate your issues.

Re: Strange boot resolution
Yeh, the computer boots fine. I have tried numerous different driver versions since this problem emerged and I currently have the latest drivers available, but to no avail. The problems occur right when the computer is booting, before the Windows loading screens are even displayed. Are drivers even involved at that stage?
