Why do they compare Athlon XP 3200+ with pentium 4 3.2ghz?
Hi, how come they can compare the athlon xp 3200+ with the pentium 4 3.2ghz? They have a 1 ghz difference! I've read multiple reviews and they say that the athlon xp 3200+ is adequate competition with the pentium 4! Does that mean that the 3200+ is as fast or is it just bluffing and the real speed is 2.2ghz?

the athlon XP 3200+ runs at 2Ghz but is actually rated at 3.2Ghz (hence the name 3200+)
