Sony Vaio desktop - powers up, can't see anything on monitor
This has been a working PC for 4+ years. Suddenly it stopped working. When powered up gets 1 beep and after that nothing is seen on the monitor.
Tested monitor ok with another PC. Tried all possible keys (found in thsi forum) entering BIOS. In this case, Sony logo itself is not seen. (still an keyboard/mouse, no USB) Sony support indicates 1 beep is normal functioning while powering up. For this model, they mentioned F2 is the tight key to enter BIOS. No recent changes made; added a seconf HDD 2 years backup, no issues. Sony Vaio Model PCV-RZ44G. Opened the box and reseated all and cleaned up which I never did so far, did not help. Any help would be great. Thanks J |
