XP Bootup Hangs at Desktop
XP Home version SP2 -- computer completes POST and hangs either at "welcome screen" or desktop and "freezes" up requiring forced restart. After 4 or 5 attempts it finally boots-up completely. No Virus, No Malware. Once the computer is warm (after running for awhile) it reboots with no problem. Please offer any assistance. Greatly appreciated! Thanks

power supply also
brand wattage it could be something in your startup folder causeing it to hang in msconfig disable all non ms and check it
