Diagnosing no boot computer
I have a custom built PC that is powering on, but does not appear to be functioning.
First, system specs: Robella Titan case (including water cooling for CPU) AGI 580W Power supply [brand new] Asus P5B motherboard [brand new] Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz CPU [swapped with Intel P4 2.8Ghz] Geforce 8600GT graphics card [brand new] 2x512MB Corsair DD2 RAM [brand new] When I turn the PSU on, the mobo signal LED turns on. Pressing the power button enables all fans (GPU, case, water cooling radiator fans), I get a single beep on boot. No video is displayed. Neither processor (P4 or Core2) cause any other beeps. Thoughts? |
