[SOLVED] Biostar K8M800 no post - DOA board?

New k8m800 biostar board will not post - currently turning on and off at the power source though the case pwr switch works to turn on will not turn off.

With both 12v+ and 20-pin power plugged into the board the system gives small burst of power (fan spins for fraction of a second). But does not stay on.

With only 20-pin plugged in the system stays on but will not POST.

Tried with two power sources, one included with case, and another brand new one.

Tried to resetting bios, switching ram slots. Right now I've got nothing installed into it but what should be nessisary for it to turn on and post. No USB/Audio Headers or anything being used.

PC speaker does not beep in any scenario.

Is this board DOA?

Wrong power connector was used at the 12v header.

When I first read this, that is what I thought the problem was. Glad you got it fixed by yourself, so will mark this one as solved.
