OS: Windows XP service pack 2

Hello.. Computer freezes and reboots?

Hello, new around here and I didn't knew was this a good section to post but I guess It works. I have windows xp service pack 2 but I don't think that matters as much

Anyway, I found this website on google search with hopes that someone knows what is the problem with my computer.
I don't have much time so I better hurry, cause my computer freezes and reboots approximately about 15 minutes, and I have no idea what bugs it.

Lately, all that I installed was Alien Vs predator 2, than I got word of an corrupted data which was gone after restart and returned to normal, but before all that I think i had problems with Hard disk (( boot from disk)) like windows had no hard disk in it....

I tried everything
-Scanned for viruses with nod32 about 5 times
-Used CCleaner about 2 times
-Checked with System Mechanics
-Used Regcure twice
-Used few things in Tune Up Utilities
-Checked Spybot
-And used AVG antispyware

So I ran out of idea what could be causing my PC to freeze

I also...
-Cleaned my pc from dust (big time, with tooth brush :D)
-Checked ventilation

I recon i have four ventilators...
I'll see if I can post my dxdiag, i hope someone can help...
I can turn my computer for about 15 minutes than it has too cooldown or it will last even less than 15 min.. I don't get it!

I'll post now so I don't lose this so I can update it or something...

Oh one more thing, before freezing my monitor goes black and displays back the frozen image on monitor, for like 1 to 2 seconds, after some time it restarts...

I put dxdiag too, I hope someone can solve this cause I tried everything 18 year kid can do :D

I'd appreciate it if its not too much truble

Re: Hello.. Computer freezes and reboots?

Let's start afresh on this one. Download and run SensorviewPro so we can look at your voltages and temperatures. Check the temps as soon as you start up, then do something a little more stressful and see what they are.

Post back with questions/concerns/results.

Re: Hello.. Computer freezes and reboots?

The report, I'm not sure is it about heating... Might be about system error on freezing

well her's the report anyway

temperatures (in C of course )

CPU = from 35 to 95 and rising to 101 if I remember
System from 36 to 97 C 104 max
aux = 31 to 90
hdp = 28 to 83
memory voltage = 33 % (not relative i guess)
cpu fans = 3410 rpm
system fans = 0
Aux fans = 4327 rpm

volts

vcorea = 1,31 v
vcoreb = 1,49 v
+3,3 v : 3,26 v
+5 v : 6,85
+12:12
+5vbs: 4,95 v
+vbat: 3,14

sorry it took so long to reply, perhaps I should just leave my comp and wait for the guy to fix it and stop bothering you guys

Eh well...

CPU clock = 2010

These are all way too hot and can damage your rig. Did you use thermal paste when you put together the CPU/Heatsink? Also, what fans do you have, where are they located, and which direction are they blowing?

The +5 rail is way out of specs which tells me you have a power supply problem if the sensor is reading this one correctly. Look in the bios and see what it says about voltages and also check temps while there to verify what we already know.

What power supply do you have including brand name and wattage?

Re: Hello.. Computer freezes and reboots?

Well.. I'll be giving PC to a guy who fixed it (again) in friday or so...

I have some older fans like these (lesser version I think???) http://www.subzeropcs.com/sitebuilde...an-510x419.jpg

Besides, I don't know about thermal paste and stuff, so I'll just leave it to the guy. I'm only 18!

I can't enter bios, I'll just leave it to the guy thats it. Thanks for the help
