Re: Please Help! - Hardware Issue
Okay thanks. Theres nine standoffs for nine holes so that alrite.
There seems to be a second issue. The system sometimes fails to POST, it will boot and stay turned on (fans keep running, along with Graphics card and CPU fans) but the screen will not display anything and the keyboard or mouse will not switch on (G15 and G9 peripperals are USB so the lights come on when the system is boots correctly). PC cost quite a bit and its been nothing but trouble :(. |

Re: Please Help! - Hardware Issue
I have kept the system out of the case for the time being in order to try and problem solve abother issue, if I was to borrow somebody elses PSU I would need one greater than 500w, so its been pretty difficult. Now the problem is I turn the system on and it hangs, its doesn't post, no beep and the display doesnt pick up a signal from the card.
Now the systme downstairs is having the exac same problem. Could this be some form of boot virus? or even possibly faulty wiring in the house damaging the PSU? SOunds a little far fetched but the problem is kinda weird! |

Re: Please Help! - Hardware Issue
to test you need a quality 650w
if you are prone to voltage fluctrations in your area it could be a problem if you can get into the other one try a system restore to an earlier date when all was ok
