OS: windows xp pro


intel d915gav mb

I fitted a intel d915gav mb to my pc.
memory 2, 1 gig ddr 400 cl3 chips
cpu lga775 530 3ghz 800mhz.
250g hd 400w power
the problem is when i turn on the system everything works, all fans running
ok BUT nothing on screen changed monitor no joy also there is no beeps at all, removed memory hd cd and powered on still nothing would be gratefull for any help

have you plugged the aux power plug into the m/b
what brand is the 400w it is a bit light on for the system
try a cmos reset
turn the computer off
remove the power lead from the back
take the side off
remove the cmos battery
move the cmos jumper from pins 1 and 2 to pin 2 and 3 and the back to pins 1 and 2
replace the battery
put the side on
replug in the power lead
boot the computer
when you do get it to post you will need to do a reopair install of the op.system because you changed the m/b

yes done and checked all moved cmos pins still nothing power supply is a jeantech 400w
model jnp-400p only bought 4 days ago, memory crucial pc3200u-30331-z ddr 400 ,cl3
only bought 5 days ago new hd cd rw, changed battery still the same only thing on monitor selftest green light comes on screen and then turns orange
checked monitor on another pc working fine

see if you can borrow a quality 550w to try in it jeantech is a oem manufacturer not top quality
