Im about to throw this down the stairs!
Ive messed up, very badly, worse than usual. Basically i was attempting to connect my PC to my HD Television and heres what happened:
Connected everything:Bios screen, windows loading screen, blackness... Hit F10 on reboot to enter setup: Messed up and accidentally put the video output to integrated! Rebooted: Nothing...computer working but the screen is black. Don't even get the bios screen with that tacky intel logo anymore My question is two fold: 1. Is there a key set which I can press on start up to automatically put the output back to how it was. 2. If yes, anyone got any suggestions on how i could stop getting blackness after the loading screen and actually see my desktop? thanks, Simnol PC: HP, m9085 gforce 8800 gts quad core xp professional 64 bit tv: JVC 40" HD, NB. ive connected my computer via the standard pc port on it. |

Re: Im about to throw this down the stairs!
Frankly, this could be bad news for some of your computer components (video card, memory, etc), but let's try something.
Unplug it from the wall and clear the cmos and see if that helps the situation. Be sure to ground yourself before working in that case. You can use either the changing the jumper for a few minutes (pins 1 & 2 to pins 2 & 3, wait a few and return it to pins 1 & 2) /or/ you can remove your motherboard battery for a few. Plug it back in and give it a try. Please understand, this is a long shot, but worth a try and won't harm anything.
