Re: Memory, harddrive, graficcard
Please read the replies carefully. We're saying that a PSU with less than 26 amps on the +12V line WILL NOT power a PCIE graphics card. It will cause your computer to overheat and 3D fullscreen games will not run. The CPU is irrelevant.
Your old power supply would be ok for an AGP graphics card, but not PCIE.

Re: Memory, harddrive, graficcard
Total = 614W. You will need a 650W PSU with at least 26A/+12V.
Good quality PSUs: Corsair, OCZ, Thermaltake ToughPower, SeaSonic.

Re: Memory, harddrive, graficcard
See post #2. How many RAM slots does your motherboard have?

Re: Memory, harddrive, graficcard
4 slots that support PC6400 will be ok for 4 sticks of PC6400 RAM, and Corsair is a good make.

Re: Memory, harddrive, graficcard
Yes, your motherboard will support 4 CM2X2048-6400C5 memory modules. My experience running 4gb of memory has not been that great, some motherboards do not like all 4 dimm slots full. The only real way to tell if the ASUS M2N AM2 NVIDIA nForce 430 MCP will be stable with 4 sticks is to try it. Mike

Re: Memory, harddrive, graficcard
You need DDR2. In post 4 is a link to your board, under specifications you will find all the info. Mike

Re: Memory, harddrive, graficcard
Do you realise that GDDR is memory for graphics cards, not RAM?
Your motherboard will support 800MHz 240 pin DDR2. DDR3 is too expensive and not worth the extra money.

Re: Memory, harddrive, graficcard
GDDR3 is way faster than GDDR2. So then GDDR4 is faster than GDDR3. Mike

Re: Memory, harddrive, graficcard
Go for the fastest graphics card in your price range. Your motherboard will support a PCIE card with any of those memory types. If you play modern, demanding games then you'll need a faster, more expensive card. If not, then go for a cheaper card.
