ATX Compatibility
I've looked everywhere and can't find a straight answer.
Here are two links which will provide you guys with all the relevant information. http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/for...ords=&areaid=7 http://www.intel.com/products/chipsets/945g/index.htm Computer is an Acer Aspire E650 (reference above links). I am looking of importing my motherboard and everything else into a new computer case. My case is very tiny and heat is becoming an issue. I have the perfect case picked out - I just have to know if this is ATX compatible. Thanks! (P.S. - How hard is it to transfer things into a new case? Seems easy - but so does everything. Do you just remove the screws and transfer it all over?) |

Re: ATX Compatibility
I cannot get your first link to work, so I don't know what it is. Now, speaking from experience, store bought systems don't typically use the same design boards as do the ones you build. I'm not sure about yours without some detailed pics of it. I would need some more info as well as some pics as well to make a better call. The power supplies are usually very similar, but sometimes a little different.
