Arrow Updating BIOS

hey all. i am trying to update my Gigabyte 8IG1000Pro-G mobo with the gigabyte '@bios' live update program except the bios wont update to the new version. It downloads and says it installs fine. then restarts and the bios hasn't changed. i dont know if the bios is write-protected or what...?

Go to http://www.gigabyte.com.tw and find bios for yours mobo and run it on your hdd. Make bootable floppy and copy theese 3 files and allow overwriting. Restart PC and boot PC from Floppy (in bios select as first boot device floppy). U have online manual on their site... U can find details there.
