Asus a7a266 pin configuration

I just got this new motherboard which is an Asus a7a266 and I have tried the manual I got online page 43 shows the pin configuration, the attachment is a piece of the page. There are pictures of the board at http://s73.photobucket.com/albums/i2...ker2/computer/ and I have http://s73.photobucket.com/albums/i2...t=HPIM4190.jpg in which the purple box represents the purple wire pair which is the reset button switch, the red is the power switch, the orange is the message led and the green is the power led. I cannot get the computer to power on so can anyone tell me how to configure the pins? I would prefer a picture. Thanks.

Welcome to TSF
Looking at the information you have provided it apears you need to rotate the power SW 90 deg to pins 12 and 14 (pin numbers starting with pin 1 top left odd pins on top even pins on the bottom.)

2 4 6 8 10 12 14 16 18 20

Yes, it does thank you. It doesn't matter which way the connector is facing does it? Like which side is facing up, the side with the writing being the front.

Not on this one, if there is a polarity the connector will be marked with a + or - these have to match what on the board.
