TRying to breathe life into my computer and could use your help
I plan on updating my machine a little bit. I mainly use it for browsing and gaming, but lately Ive been looking into giving it a little more power. I am runing an AGP 128mb card, amd 2.0 ghz processor and I have 2 gigs of ram. I want to upgrade my mb so I can use PCI Express and Hopefully Dual core. I dont mind buying another 2 gigs of newer ram as thats like 50$. If I had a budget of 200$ or lower, what combo would you recommend for a motherboard and processor? I play battlefield 2, CS:S, and I just bought Oblivion. Thank you for your time.

Re: TRying to breathe life into my computer and could use your help
I have had great success with the AMD A64 X2 5000 Black Edition which will overclock to 3.0GHz and this MSI motherboard. I own two of these systems and with the GF 8600, they play any game out there. Don't forget to budget in an SATA hard drive. Mike
