Exclamation My laptop wont boot at all

I have an Inspiron 510m and it wont boot into bios or windows it wont turn on for more than a second. My laptop has recently lagged more than usual and has just been cured of a problem that constantly crashed the system. it also turned itself off without me telling it to as if the power cut out or auto off due to over heating even when it was cold. How can i fix this problem?

My System

Re: My laptop wont boot at all

you can remove the battery and unplug the power source overnight, but there might be a broken fan inside the laptop.

Re: My laptop wont boot at all

I may have a safety on it to shut off if a fan or something doesn't start right away on boot up.

Re: My laptop wont boot at all

it hasn't had overheating problems and it just wont boot (when i press the power button it just flashes for a split second then remains off) with or without the battery or ac power. A suggestion i've had has been that i remove all easily removable hardware like the hardrive, ram, battery and wireless network card and try to boot but that didn't work either so any ideas?
