could this have fried my mobo?
i put a 4 pin power connector that is supposed to go in the 24 pin slot and i put it in the 12v slot on my mobo. i didnt realize that was supposed to go in the 24 pin slot until i read the warning label....yea... could that have ruined my mobo bc something isnt working...

Because SOMETHING isn't working?? Does it start at all or totally dead? Please explain.
A good power supply will shut off if there is a voltage problem. Check to see if it has a manual reset button on the back. If not it will reset itself after a while. As to possible MB damage, inspect MB for hot spots, browning on paper caps etc.. |

The answer is NO, it will not start if the jumpers are on 2-3. Must be on pins 1-2.
