E6600 runs at half fsb and cpu speed on a MSI 945GM3

I have a E6600 on the MSI 945GM3 with the latest bios update that is supposed to support the cpu. The cpu worked fine at 2.4ghz for a couple months and now only works at 1.2ghz. The bus speed only is 133 instead of the 266.

I have the exact same problem, and my motherboard is a Micro Star International MS-7267 with an Intel i945G/GZ. I think it's the same chip as yours.

First thing i would do is make sure you have the latest motherboard bios. Check here http://global.msi.com.tw/index.php?func=downloadindex

and then load defaults in the bios. Post resutls.
