K8VSE - no graphics...

Hey,

Just bought a new system, finished connecting everything together and booted up. Everything seems to come online ok but the monitor doesnt appear to receive anything, just stays dead.

system as follows:

K8VSE deluxe
athlon 64 2800+
1 gb DDR400 PC3200
asus A9200SE/TD 128mb

any help would be much appreciated. The graphics card works fine in an old computer, havent been able to try another card on the new board though.

Cheers

No graphics either

No help I'm afraid, but wondered if you'd fixed it yet. Mine is a similar set up, but doesn't even seem to boot up.

Fixed!

I have fixed mine by stopping the motherboard shorting out on the case. The ram isn't 'approved' but still works, thankfully! Now to install all that software again!
