Help me switch my lights off

I have just built my first PC and I can't get my floppy disk drive to work properly, the light stays on all the time. I am sure I have missed something very obvious and I need extra brains to figure it out All help would be appreciated.
I am using a ASUS A7N8X de luxe motherboard and everything else I have connected has worked - in fact the PC is great apart from the floppy

When the light stays on it usually means that the ribbon cable is reversed, just take it out and turn it over.

Thank you Brian your a star I just did as you suggested and it worked - I thought I had already tried that but obviously not.
