Re: computer freezes when loading startup

Hi,

See if you can start Windows in Safe Mode.
Please post back with the system specifications - don't forget the power supply.

Re: Computer freezing up at start

going to need a bit more information.

Did you recently change any hardware in your system (add any ram? change the video card? etc.)

Do you hear any beeps when it's starting up?

Can you put the computer into Safe Mode and let it boot up that way?

Re: Computer freezing up at start

Attn: ricer333
Thanks for your reply - I did change/updated my computer in November 2006
- at the time Rams were added also the following INTEL pentium 4 CPU 2.93ghz, 960mb of Ram- was installed

I do hear a "noise" at the beginning- when it is loading my preferences after that nothing

I do not know how to put the computer into safe mode

If I do that how do I return back to "regular Mode"

Again, to all thanks for your assistance; in advance

regards
tomunz
