I managed to set the ddr reference voltage to 2.75, but when I boot up it's still no good... the fans come on and the harddrive whirls but that's about it, normally the PC will beep and the monitor will come on. I tried switching around the 4 memory sticks 1+3 and 2+4 (visa versa) but still no good, these 2x2 sets of dual channel memory only work if I slot them as just 1 pair (1gb)

I've had this PC about a year now but never tried updating the bios or flashing them as it's prob too complicated and I've never done it before, could this be the problem ? or maybe another problem I have is over the last couple of days I've been trying to get rid of a worm called Win32/parite which is wrecking havoc and although I've tried many anti virus tools to get rid of it I can't, Unless I reformat I persume ? but could this be causing a problem with the ram not working ?

Thanks again for any replys.
