Vista only running one of my cores
I had this problem before, but I dont remember how I fixed it. I recently reinstalled vista, and now i'm getting it again, but I cant seem to figure it out. Here's an image of what i'm getting that will hopefully help diagnose the issue.

Re: Vista only running one of my cores
Open the Task Manager and check the affinity of Explorer. It should be showing as using Core 1 and Core 2.

Re: Vista only running one of my cores
I messed around with everything I knew to mess around with and its showing 2.1ghz again like it should. I wish I knew exactly what I did though so I could fix it if it comes up again..
But next time, if there is one, I'll be sure to check that out and see if that fixes it. Thanks =) |
