Temperature Monitoring
I've got a problem where whenever I open a temp monitoring program, all the fans in my computer go full speed and my screen goes blank and turns off. I've left it for a couple of minutes, but it doesn't seem like there's any way of getting back, so I have to restart. Any ideas why this would happen?

Re: Temperature Monitoring
i have no idea why a temp monitor would cause the fans to increase in speed,it is not unusual for them to be incompatible with the sensors, but then they just don't work
if the stress test caused no shut down or reboots i would think you don't have anything to worry about if anything was going to cause the fans to speed up the test would have your system appears to be running and copeing fine
