I've had a look on speed fan and the temps are: CPU 55c internal 45c remote 44c HD 35c. Do you think i need another fan in there and if so can anyone recommend any for me please. cheers

Re: Cooling

Please list your specs and tell us what fans you have, where they are located, and which direction they are blowing and then we will know better what you might consider.

Re: Cooling

Mainboard : Intel D915GAG
Chipset : Intel i915G
Processor : Intel Pentium 4 530 @ 3000 MHz
Physical Memory : 1024 MB

just took them off pc wizard don't know if you need any more info. I have one big old ugly fan in the middle blowing downwards onto the processor and thats it i had a fan blowing down from the PSU before but the new one hasn't got this so i've just got the one fan now. Don't really want to remove the fan that is in there even though it's pretty pants as i'll probably mess it up because i'm useless.

Re: Cooling

You need the following:

A fan in back pulling warm air out of the case.

A fan in the front pulling in cool air.

Heatsink fan blowing down on the CPU.

If you have:::::::

a case fan in top, it must be pulling the hot air out of the case.

a side case fan, must be pulling in cool air in to the case.
