help on picking a new mobo

I am going to build my first system with the following:

3.0 ghz p4 with ht
768 mb pc2100 ram
ati radeon 9800 pro with 128 mb
soundblaster audigy 2

I was looking at several motherboard including MSI "Neo2-PFISR " i865PE, DFI "LANPARTY PRO875B" i875P, ABIT "IC7-G MAXII ADVANCE" i875P, and the ASUS "P4P800-E Deluxe" i865PE. Anyone have any recommendations on one of those or other boards? Thanks for the help.

well I don't know what's wrong with it, but apparently the "P4P800-E Deluxe" gives alot of people problems installing

Thumbs Up Help on picking a new mobo

Hi briahy8s I'm new to the boards and I just built my new pc with prayers and sweat . I'm using the DFI LanParty875B and I like this better than the Intel boards never used the AMD's. I haven't yet overclocked because I was new to building and got a celeron cpu instead of a P4 but will be getting the P4 2.8GHz 800 FSB Northwood very soon. From looking at what you've got for specs so far you didn't mention anything about a p/s, case, or fans and you're going to need at least 1GB of ram to really appreciate this board. Whatever you decide make sure you get a real good p/s Thermaltake, Enermax, Antec just to name a few are terrific p/s's. Good luck in your building and I hope you don't have half as much problems as I did, but in the end it was all worth it.
