ASUS A8N5X with no onboard video

ok so i got that mb and a great video card but since the mb doesnt have onboard video it isnt recognized but my screen so i cant do anything

help?

I'm sorry, I'm having some difficulty understanding what you're asking.

So, you have an ASUS A8N5X. I recently used one of these in a build for a video editing rig for a friend. As it does lack onboard video we installed a GigaByte 6600LE for video functions. Is yours just not displaying anything?

yes nothing is being sent to the monitor when i turn it on
do you know of any gig-a-byte motherboards (AMD) that have onboard video?

What are the complete specs of this computer? You should plug the monitor into the dedicated video card and it should display using that. If it doesn't, check that the video card has the power connector plugged in, and try another monitor. You don't need onboard video to setup a new build.
