My System

Make sure the heatsink is tight and the cpu fan is spinning.

What heat sink did you use and did it have a thermal pad?

Or did you use Paste?

While you are in bios did you notice or can you get the cpu temp?

Before I answer, I like to add:Pwering first up, there was a short beep and a messageon monitor"Reboot and select proper boot device or insertBoot Media in selected Boot Driver and pres a key_" Holding down "delete" key, I get in the BIOS menu and cthere for short moment the powerturn off.
I have regional Intel PSU heat sink on and it is tied.
The user guide under one beep listing
1)Keyboard controler error
2)Refresh time error and
3) No master drive detected

Sir, you are genius. I double check and one of the pins was loose. The power stays on now. I still have one short beep
