Thermal Paste

Where can one get hold of some of that Thermal paste?

I had to remove my heatsink from my CPU and I can see the paste that was on there has dried up.

Also, is it safe to use my PC like that or should I rather get some paste first before using my PC?

YOU NEED TO HAVE THERMAL PASTE ON IT
dont use the computer without it. you can get it at any local computer shop or online. usually its sold in small tubes sometimes also in packages.

i recommend buying arctic silver 5 because it is of a better quality then the regular white stuff.

Do I need to replace the paste from time to time on my CPU or only if I remove the cooler and fan?

only when you remove the cooler from the cpu.
