You may need to do some research via search engine for technical specifications to get the full details you are looking for. You will need to check several websites and cobble the information together as I have yet to find a page that included word sizes and voltages on the same table (including the specifications listed on the Intel website). Google is your friend.

By the way, are the P2-P4s taking into account Celerons and Xeons at all, or just the regular ones?

I can tell you that the Pentium also came in a 200MHz and a 233MHz.

This link might help you out a little. It only goes to P4 1.5Ghz but it can give you enough up to then.

Pentium IIs:
Internal Speed:.....External Speed:............L1/L2 Cache (K):........Voltage (Ext./Core)
233..........................66...............................16/512......................3.3/2.8
266..........................66...............................16/512......................3.3/2.8
300..........................66...............................16/512......................3.3/2.8
333..........................66...............................16/512......................3.3/2.8
350..........................100..............................16/512......................3.3/2.8
400..........................100..............................16/512......................3.3/2.8
450..........................100..............................16/512......................3.3/2.9

The PIIIs had a huge range of CPUs, so I'm not listing them...

Clocks range from 450-1266 MHz. 16k/256 to 16k/512 was the range of cache. Voltages were 1.7 and 2.0 volts.

I know the Pentium 4s have a 20 step pipeline. They have a range of 1.3GHz to 3.8 (don't know the exact). The might have pushed 4GHz, I just don't recall. Remember, that the Pentium 4 line has a rediculous amount of variants because of all of the features added. HyperThreading is one to think about. The P4 Extreme... 1.2V-1.75V is the voltage range. The 1.2 is for the mobile versions. 256-2048 KiB cache for them as well.

That's all the info I have for now. Hope it helped.

Again, no problem at all. Just true geek knowledge (that shows something...)

My System

Pentium III
3 versions, 2 different FSB speeds.

Katmai core built on the 0.25µm process
FSB speed = 100MHz or 133MHz
CPU speeds @ 100MHz FSB = 450, 500, 550, 600MHz
CPU speeds @ 133MHz FSB = 533 or 600MHz Labled B models
Level 2 Cache = 512KB (half speed)
Core voltage = 2.0V
Package = SECC and SECC2

Coppermine core built on the 0.18µm process
FSB speed = 100MHz or 133MHz
CPU speed @ 100MHz = 550, 600, 650, 700, 750, 800, 850, 900, 1000MHz Labled E models
CPU speed @ 133MHz = 533, 600, 667, 733, 800, 866, 933, 1000MHz, 1.13GHz Labled EB models
Level 2 Cache = 256KB full speed
Core voltage = 1.65V
Package = SECC2 and FC-PGA (socket 370)

Tualatin core built on the 0.13µm process
FSB Speed = 133MHz
CPU speed = 1.0, 1.13, 1.2, 1.26, 1.33, 1.4GHz
Level 2 Cache = 256KB, 512KB on the PIII-S
Core Voltage = 1.45V
Package - FC-PGA (socket370)

All PII & PIIIs have 16 +16 KB Level 1 Cache

One must also note that you cannot put a Tualatin core CPU in a motherboard that will only accept a Coppermine CPU.

I would like to ammend to laboye input on the PII.

The Pentium II came in 2 different cores.

The Klamath core which ran on the 66MHz FSB and came in 233, 266, 300 and 333 MHz. Built on the 0.35µm process.

The Deschutes core which ran on the 100MHz FSB and came in 350, 400, and 450MHz. Built on the 0.25µm process.

Both came in a SECC package though I have seen some 450's in a SECC2 package.

Celerons (It's amazing that they still use this name even though the CPU is different.)
One must realize that Celerons are not just a PentuimX CPU with half the cache. The PentuimX uses an 8-way set associative L2 cache. The Celeron only uses a 4-way set associative L2 cache.
It wasn't untill the Tualatin core that intel included the 8-way set associative L2 cache. Tualatin core Celerons performed like full blown PIII because they were effectively full blow PIII with half the cache.
In fact there was a time Intel was shipping PIII Tualatin cores with Celeron name badge on them.

There are 8 different versions covering FSB speeds of 66MHz to 533MHz FSB.

Covington core built on the 0.35µm process
FSB speed = 66MHz
CPU speed = 266 or 300MHz
Level 2 cache = none
Core voltage = 2.8V
Package = SEPP

Mendocino core built on the 0.25µm process
FSB speed = 66MHz
CPU speed = 300, 333, 366, 400, 433, 466, 500, 533MHz FSB (the 300 was labled 300A)
Level 2 cache = 128KB full speed
Core voltage = 2.8V
Package = 300-433MHz SEPP / 466-533MHz socket 370 PPGA

Coppermine-128 core built on the 0.18µm process
FSB speed = 66 or 100MHz
CPU speed @ 66MHz FSB = 566, 600, 633, 666, 700, 733, 766MHz
CPU speed @ 100MHz FSB = 800, 850, 900, 950, 100, 1100MHz
Level 2 cache = 128KB full speed
Core voltage = 66MHz FSB 1.5v / 100MHz FSB 1.7v
Package = socket 370 FCPGA

Tualatin core built on the 0.13µm process
FSB speed = 100MHz
CPU speed = 1000, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400MHz (1000 and 1100 were given an "a" extension to differentiate them from the coppermine.
Level 2 cache = 256KB
Core voltage = 1.45v
Package = socket 370 FCPGA2

Williamette-128 core built on the 0.18µm process
FSB speed = 400MHz
CPU speed = 1.7 or 1.8GHz
Level 2 cache = 128KB
Core voltage = 1.7v (SL7RU stepping is 1.5v)
Package = socket 478

Northwood-128 core built on the 0.13µm process
FSB speed = 400MHz
CPU speed = 2.0, 2.2 , 2.3, 2.4, 2.5, 2.7, 2.8GHz
Level 2 cache = 128KB
Core voltage 1.25-1.75v
Package = socket 478

Prescott-256 core AKA Celeron D built on the 90nm and 65nm process
FSB speed = 533MHz
CPU speed = 2.13, 2.26, 2.4, 2.53, 2.66, 2.8, 2.93, 3.06, 3.2GHz
Level 2 cache = 256KB
Core voltage = 1.25v - 1.4v
Package = socket 478 and LGA775 (socket T)

Cedar Mill-512 core AKA Celeron D built on the 65nm process
FSB speed = 533MHz FSB
CPU speed = 3.2 or 3.33 GHz
Level 2 cache = 512KB
Core voltage = 1.25-1.4v
Package = LGA775 (socket T)

This only covers the desktop versions. There are still mobile Celerons and Pentiums.
