you want to build a whole new system or just upgrade ?

what are your current system specs (motherboard cpu ram pcu video card) if you want to upgrade your current system ?

OT:are parts in china really that much cheaper ?

btw id say look at a conroe system due to them being better performing then the fx series if u decide to build a new system

Hardware wise I don't think you will have any problems. The version of Windows and other programs may not work in english. Not sure if they offer an option to buy english versions of Windows in China.
Maybe someone else can post about this.

sticking with AMD suggest the dual core 4400 / 4800 , intels core 2 duo's are spanking the AMD's right now although the switch in systems your going to require the MB/processor/ddr2 ram.

A significant chunk of Microsoft products in China are infact pirated - they have a huge software counterfeit market there. You'll want to stick to buying your software here. The last thing you want to do is buy Windows there and find out the Windows Genuine Advantage tool brands you.
