that looks like double sided to me, which is the one ive got. does this mean the bleeping is because of the wrong memory?!

I don't think that memory is supported by your board but the description on ebay is not good.

What does the post code say? If its C1h- C5h then that is a memory error and I suggest you go to http://corsair.com/

And use their configuarator to get some good memory for the board.

Also did you follow artic silvers instructions to clean and apply the thermal paste?

ive ordered some more memory, hopefully thatll be the end of it
