Hi guys, I need help ! :P

First let me apologise for the bad english since it is not my native language.
I am not sure this is the right forum but since I dont really know whats happened to my computer and I am guessing it could have something to do with my cpu I am gonna go ahead and post here first and u can point me in another direction if I was wrong :)
Well to the problem:
Since a few weeks back I have experienced lag in different games. Bad fps etc when things get heated.
And in games wich really shouldnt lag for me like wc3, and never have lagged before. Its like I am playing on my old 333hz computer again :P.
My specs (is that the right word?) are :
well actually this is somewhat embarrassing, I lost all my boxes with manuals etc at my last appartment so I am not 100% sure of wich gf I got etc
but here goes afaik:
p4 3.2Ghz
1GB RAM - Kingstone
mb: MSI 865Pe Neo3
Geforce 6800 GT
Win Xp

What I have done sofar:
well when the problem started I guessed it was some spyware or something so I went on for days cleaning and testing all sorts of things softwareich.
When that didnt help I formatted the drive with windows on, saved my games etc on the other partition. But here it gets strange cos when I had installed all new drivers etc I was gonna test play wc3 there was no .exe and no dlls so I thought of the obvious and installed antivirus, ran 2 different antivirusprograms without finding anything. guess the virus might have dissapered with the .exes ?!?? :P
well without the boxes for my games wich also dissappered with all the other stuff I had a hard time getting the dlls and exes for my games but u dont need to hear that story :O
When I at last got the files needed for wc3 I tried it out the problem remained. Since the format didnt help I guess it should be because of my hardware so I cleaned the dust from fans etc and removed quite a few hairs.
Installed 3dmark06 to be able to compair results when I did some changes etc and when I did the test my results was incredible low compaired to computers of mine standard. The Cpu tests was 0fps all through the test but in graphics I atleast averaged around 10.
And with my astonoshing intelligens I figured it might be something with the cpu so I am posting here
Glad for any tips or help

Hi,

This one might be difficult to pin down. We really need to know about your power supply, like brand name, wattage, and amps per rail (side of power supply) that are listed. Also, run the Sensorview program under my signature. Run it and take readings while you are at-rest and then when you are playing a game. REport both back here so we can take a look at some of the specs and the performance data.

ok, for power supply I use:
well it has lots of tags :P, I guess it is named Power Man ?
Model no: IW-ISP350J3-1
AC Input: 220-230V ~ 4A , 50Hz
DC Output:
+5V / 30.0A, +12V / 18.0A
+3,3V / 28.0A -12V / 0.8A
+5VSB / 2.0A -5V / 0.3A
3.3V & 5.V = 200W (max)
3.3V & 5.V + 12V = 285W (max)

was that what u needed?

Readings ingame:
its hard to stress the computer ingame and take the readings at the same time :)
but I am going by the numbers in the history:
so cpu usage is about 50% and °C at at the tops
memory usage isnt changing wathever I am doing it seems, its about 42% all the time ingame.
and Voltage doesnt change at all ingame from the looks of it.

Hi,

This is a difficult power supply to run down. If I am reading things correctly, it is only a 350 watt power supply which is most likely not powerful enough to pull your computer. Also, since it does not have the FS designation someplace, I don't know who made this unit so it may be very low quality although in fairness I don't know and can't seem to find out.. IMHO, even a great name power supply with 350 watts would not be enough juice for things on your computer. Do you know someone who has another more powerful supply you could try??
