Confused No beep no display... no nothing!! help!

hi! i just finished rebuilding my computer and now when i push the power button everything spins up but there is no display on the monitor. Also my cd rom drive will not open when the button is pushed. The rebuild consisted of a new case, power supply, cpu and ram. All of which are compatable. I know i did all the wireing right but if you thinks thats at fault please let me know... I am desperate because i need to have this computer out of my house and back to my friend today. (he's been waiting for me to stop procratinating!) also...if this is posted in the wrong subject...please forgive me. thanks!
