What is the DELL service tag number on your pc. I can check your motherboards specs on DELLs website and then assist you further.

Otherwise check your manual or get an IT person to have a look at your machine.

That computer more than likley has an AGP or PCIe slot on it, in which case you should use that. Any card that uses a PCI slot won't be much better than what you have now. If you look on the motherboard, do you see a different colored slot about the same length as the PCI slots or a slot thats longer than the PCI slots?

As for the PSU, you will need enough power to give all the components power. Underpowered components are unhappy components. Check at the PC Power and Cooling website. They sell Dell PSUs. Depending what video card you have, you will need a different amount of power. If you post what video card you will be getting, we can recomend a suitable amount of power.
