Computer boots but no display and k/b lights flash
I'm new to forum and need some help to fix my pc.
I run: Pentium 4 prescott 3GHZ Asus P4P800-E Dleuxe Sapphire ATI Radeon 9250 256MB 128bit DDR AGP My problem is the pc turns on and the monitor light goes green then goes to amber. The monitor displays 'standby mode' and then the lights on the keyboard keep flashing. What is causing these problems? My gues is PSU can anyone help me out, and how likely is it that other components have been damaged? Thanks |

Please post the PSU specs including brand, wattage, and amps.
First, try removing the AGP card and reseating it. Sometimes these cards can work their way out of the slot a little causing this sort of problem. If that doesn't help, if you have more than one stick of ram try booting the system to each stick individually. |
