lack of connectors for IEEE 1394
Putting all my stuff together and I find that my motherboard (MSI K8N Diamond Plus)has 2 firewire ports so I thought I would hook them up to my case's firewire port on top (case is thermaltake xaser V V5000a) but I don't know which pins go where after a certain point. The motherboard manual tells me the following pin defintion: 1-TPA+, 2-TPA-, 3-Ground (GND), 4-Ground (GND), 5-TPB+, 6-TPB-, 7-Cable power, 8-Cable power, 9-key (no pin), and 10-Ground (GND).
But the case cable from the port to the motherboard only has the following connectors: TPA+, TPA-, TPB+, TPB-, 2 GND (ground), VG (?), and VP (?). Can I make this work somehow? |
