Duo Cores in LapTops

About duo cores in laptops, im thinking of buying one i know how they work in stationary pc's but i was hoping if someone could say something about their own experiences. Dont know anyone who has one.

thankful for answers, btw the system im probably going to buy is intel duo core t2400

I wouldn't buy one simply because I don't believe in Intel. AMD is going to release a dual-core version of their mobile Turion chips and that's what I want. I hope it comes in S754.

Haha well, Intel has always provided me with nice gear.and my Athlon has given me some issues, so i prefer intel :P

well, if apple is using it in their new pro level laptop, then its a decent chip. but be warned, there apears to be a ms driver bug in many laptops with those cpus that eats up the battery life.

geez thats really a problem, fortunately i dont travel a lot and batterytime isnt a big issue. Thanks for the heads-up though. hopefully theyll come up with some sort of sollution soon enough. but hey, its microsoft, so who knows.

i would go with the intel one. amd procs are desktop, intel laptops. just get like an acer laptop though. they are good
