DELL Inspiron 2500 crash at startup

Hello

I have a big problem with my DELL Inspiron 2500.
The computer was assembled my self (HDD, RAM, CD).
The problem is, that when i turn it on it crashes at POST procedure. It recognizes the CPU, counts the RAM, detects touchpad, HDD, DVD-ROM and.. simply stops.
I can`t go to BIOS Setup program.
I`ve tried to reset the BIOS settings by resoldering the batery, but it didn`t work out (nothing happened) .
Is there any key shourtcuts to restore BIOS defaults?
Is it possible that the 2500 stores part of BIOS data at harddrive?
Please help if you can.

Try F2 key to get to BIOS on DELL Inspiron 2500

Try the F2 key to get to BIOS, once in F9 can restore defaults. If you have a problem with BIOS remember you can power up holding the F2 key down.
