not 100% on model number but this is a new latop everything was working fine no problems .......working in afganistan.....tried to plug into direct satilite phone connection and comp shut down and will not start up ......pulled bat ....checked voltage 15.8 volts ...no lights ..nothing ....cannot ship comp back till feb....and dont want to sit here all winter please help......pulled mem out and dont want to hurt machine ............panosonic is make and there help line was no help....tried to find there website is also not fun .............

I assume you were attempting to plug into the satellite phone Ethernet connection??
You may want to double check the satellite phone RJ-45 interface, as sometimes equipment uses RJ-45 for serial type interfaces that require either an adapter cable or are to be used with vendor specific accessories. They may look like Ethernet, but are not. Not sure I can help more, but here is a link for Panasonic Laptops: Toughbook Support Good luck. JamesO |
