Details please.
Make & model of laptop? Make & model of wireless card installed? OS and Service Pack level? What you have on the surface sounds like Windows XP Service Pack 1 Wireless Zero managing your wireless card. This is pretty typical! But with more details, we can give better advice. JamesO |

The Intel 2100 has software/firmware issues.
Dell/Intell Wireless 2100 Update Make sure you follow the directions. Note the firmware version before you upgrade to make sure you completed the upgrade. JamesO |
