Hello,when I turned on my laptop(a Toshiba Satellite 5105) and I saw
red stripes running over the screen.Windows is not even booting anymore.....is it time for me to throw it away or is there something i can do about that? All the others function like the stand-alone CD player are working. Last edited by Ayle; 10-08-2005 at 02:34 PM. |

yep but the stripes still there and the computer don't want to boot, stuck in the hard drive verification of winXP, safe mode is not working also, after the loading of the files i get a blank screen on an external screen or and the laptop screen goes white. The stripes start showing when I turn on the laptop and don't leave even if I plug it to an external display.......

Uninstall/reinstall the video drivers in safe mode. Then you can run this diagnostic tool to find out what the problem is.
