Laptop won't come out of suspend/sleep mode
My fiancee and I both have the same laptop. Well, almost the same. Mine works.
Anyway, she turned her laptop off this afternoon, and when she turned it on this evening, the screen won't work. The power light is on, the fan is whirring, and there's a light that says it plugged into the AC power. Though strangely there's a light on that says its in suspend or sleep mode or something (it has a moon as a logo so I'm presuming this). Nothing at all seems to turn the screen on - moving the mouse, tapping the keyboard, manual power-off and restarting - it's always in suspend/sleep mode. Sorry to be vague Could anyone offer any advice? |

Post the make and model of the laptop, so we know what it is.
Manufacturers generally have user manuals on their website, for those whom don't have the CD that accompanies the laptop and the manual describes the Function keys. Also there may be an issue of this model having problems with sleep mode, any answer is just blind guessing without the laptop details.
